Trade Show Giveaways: What to Bring and How to Plan
A trade show booth has a few seconds to make an impression, and the giveaway is what walks out the door with your name on it. The best ones are useful long after the show is over. Here is how to choose — and how to plan your order around the show date.
Think about what happens after the show
A giveaway that gets used keeps working for you. A tote bag is a good example: visitors use it to carry everything else they collect that day, so your logo is on display all over the show floor. The Shoulder Tote is made of lightweight 7 oz. natural cotton, according to its supplier.
Pens are the other trade show staple — every booth visitor signs something. Our Writing Instruments tab opens with our best sellers.
Small items for every visitor
For the steady stream of people passing your booth, choose something small, useful and easy to carry: a natural beeswax lip moisturizer, a microfiber lens cloth for phone and computer screens, or a lightweight phone stand like the Klamp. Mixie describes its lip moisturizer as made with natural beeswax and aloe, with a full-color label for your logo.
A step up for your best conversations
Keep a few nicer items behind the table for the visitors you really want to follow up with. A journal notebook with a pen loop, a carabiner tool kit, or a compact umbrella makes a stronger impression. Shed Rain says it covers its umbrellas with a lifetime warranty (with some exclusions), and its 40" compact umbrella opens automatically and fits in a tote or backpack.
Plan your order around the show date
Start with your show date and work back. When you order, enter the date you need everything in hand at checkout; we confirm whether we can make it when we send your free e-proof, and nothing is made until you approve the proof.
On our Trade Shows tab, some products show their price at a set quantity, labeled right on the card, so you can compare them at the same order size. Ordering $10,000 or more (before tax) across your items? We prepare a Request for Proposal for you instead.
